Udine Hospital: 700 years of history and a leap into the future
Born in 1282 the hospital of Udine has made is way trought centuries and is now a third-level hub, with 900 inbeds that grants the people of Friuli high level healtcare services, covering all the surgical and medical subspecialties.

The hospital, after a journey begun in 2010, is now JCI accredited as academic hospital, one of only five across Europe.

Our University
The University of Udine was founded in 1978 to provide the Friulian community with an independent centre for advanced training in cultural and scientific studies. Udine and its University are a point of reference in a region which is historically a meeting place and crossroads of different worlds and cultures.

Quality&Risk Unit: Expertise and know-how
The group led by Prof.Brusaferro is a multiprofessional team, composed by consultants and residents doctors, nurses and other experts, such as sociologists and microbiologists.
In the last years the solid experience in Risk Managment, Quality and Safety has been enriched by new multifaceted strategies involving social media use and tailored communication. Some of these experiences have been made with the production of videoclips and modern training techniques.
Udine in Quality history
In June 1985 ISQua, a network to become the most important for quality in health care, was established in Udine during a workshop hosted by WHO and SIQuAS-VRQ.
In 2015 ISQua 30th Anniversary meeting was also hosted in Udine.
